Job summary

Orthopaedic Associates of Maine (OAM) is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Greater Portland rehabilitation team. You will evaluate and treat patients with upper extremity and hand conditions in an outpatient setting, guiding customized plans to restore function and return to work, sport, or daily life.

You’ll work closely with orthopedic physicians, design splints, educate on prevention, and maintain EMR documentation to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Maine licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Hand/Upper Extremity therapy experience required; CHT certification is a plus.
  • BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of upper extremity anatomy, rehabilitation principles, and therapeutic modalities.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
  • A passion for patient-centered care and continuous professional growth.

Responsibilities
