Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a Port Orchard, WA school setting. You will help children develop fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills to succeed in school.

You will collaborate with special education staff, conduct evaluations, set individualized goals, and participate in IEP meetings while ensuring student confidentiality and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Requires license/credential for Washington state
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based or special education experience a plus
• Knowledge of pediatric OT, sensory processing, and development

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services to students individually and in small groups

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team and support students in a school setting in Port Orchard, WA

This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys working directly with students, building meaningful relationships, and helping children develop the fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills they need to be successful at school.

What You'll Do

As an OT, you will work collaboratively with special education staff and other members of the educational team to provide individualized occupational therapy services to students. Responsibilities may include:

• Providing occupational therapy services to students individually and/or in small groups
• Conducting evaluations and assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment goals and interventions
• Supporting students with fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and visual-motor skills
• Helping students develop functional, self-care, and classroom participation skills
• Monitoring and documenting student progress toward individualized goals
• Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student programming and goals
• Recommending strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student success
• Maintaining student confidentiality and following all school and TSP Ed Co policies

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license/credential appropriate for practice in Washington
• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Experience working with children or adolescents preferred
• School-based and/or special education experience is a plus
• Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy, sensory processing, and developmental needs
• Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and documentation skills
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping students succeed
• Ability to meet all applicable school, licensing, and employment requirements
