Job summary

People Well Staffing is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent position in Oxnard, CA. You will evaluate and treat patients to improve independence with daily activities, functional mobility, safety, and upper-extremity function while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients, developing OT plans, implementing adaptive strategies, monitoring progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapist or Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active CA OT or COTA license in good standing.
• Current BLS/CPR certification as required by the employer.
• Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Experience in the applicable setting preferred.

• Develop or carry out individualized occupational therapy plans of care within licensure scope.
