Feather River Care Center is seeking a Staff Occupational Therapist in California to evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy modalities prescribed by a licensed physician. The OT will help patients restore function and reach their maximum potential within their capabilities.

Graduation from a Baccalaureate Degree program in Occupational Therapy or a M.S. Certificate accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education
California Occupational Therapy License current or eligible
Current American Heart Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. The Occupational Therapist administers treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability, assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
Work area is well lighted and ventilated. Contact with patients in a wide variety of circumstances. Exposed to noise, chemicals, communicable diseases, and hazardous materials. Wears personal protective equipment as required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands to handle or feel objects, or controls; each with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk or stand for extended periods, occasionally required to sit, balance; stoop, kneel or crouch.
