Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Omaha, NE is expanding with a new skilled nursing partnership and is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to help establish a strong therapy program from day one. You will deliver individualized, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Candidates should be graduates of an accredited OT program with Nebraska licensure eligibility. The role offers clinical autonomy within a supportive interdisciplinary team and opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
• Provide evidence-based occupational therapy to improve independence with daily activities, functional mobility, strength, coordination, and safety.
• Help patients develop or regain the skills needed to participate as independently as possible in everyday activities.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, adaptive strategies, equipment, and techniques to support independence and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Contribute to the development and success of a new therapy program through teamwork, communication, and patient-centered care.

What You'll Do

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Nebraska
