Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy in Davenport, IA is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post‑acute setting.

You will perform evaluations, develop care plans, and implement treatment programs to improve ADLs, cognition, strength, ROM, and functional independence, while supervising OT Assistants and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license (or eligibility) in the applicable state (Iowa).

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment focused on functional outcomes.
• Address ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, strength, positioning, and discharge planning.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules per established guidelines.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Ridgecrest Village, Davenport, IA.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post‑acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessments, care plan development, and implementation of treatment programs designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive function, upper‑extremity strength, range of motion, positioning, and overall functional independence.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organizational skills
