Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Oceanside, CA. The Occupational Therapist will conduct evaluations, create individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-informed, play-based interventions for children with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing direct therapy sessions, documenting treatment progress, collaborating with families and caregivers, and offering education and home program strategies to support carryover of skills. The role also involves working closely with other professionals as needed, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to a supportive, child-centered environment aligned with the company’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy, including pediatric assessment and intervention skills.
• Knowledge of relevant aspects of Medicine and Rehabilitation to support interdisciplinary care and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with children, families, caregivers, and other professionals.
• Experience or focused interest in Pediatrics, particularly in sensory processing, motor skills, and functional daily living skills.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of California.
• Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with children and families and to adapt interventions to individual strengths and interests.
