Job summary

Synchrony is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in Novi, MI. You will provide comprehensive OT services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

You will assess patients, develop individualized plans, educate families on daily living strategies, document progress, and work with a diverse team to ensure high-quality patient care. Licensure and CPR are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have and maintain a current, valid state OT licensure or registration.
• Current valid CPR certification, preferred.
• Education: Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques and strategies for daily living activities.
• Document patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for providing a full range of occupational therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.
