Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services for adult and geriatric patients at Lantern Park Specialty Care in Coralville, IA. You will perform evaluations, develop care plans, and implement treatment to improve ADLs and functional independence.

In this role, you will supervise OTAs, document care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license (or eligibility) in applicable state.
• Experience in skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment focused on functional and measurable outcomes.
• Address ADLs, functional mobility, cognition, strength, positioning, and discharge planning.
• Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants in accordance with regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain appropriate patient schedules per established guidelines.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care and reimbursement requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and facility staff to support positive patient outcomes.

Occupational Therapist (OT) - Coralville, IA

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide rehabilitation services to adult and geriatric patients at Lantern Park Specialty Care.

This role focuses on evaluating and treating adult and geriatric patients in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting. The Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessments, care plan development, and implementation of treatment programs designed to improve activities of daily living (ADLs), cognitive function, upper extremity strength, range of motion, positioning, and overall functional independence.
