Responsible for the evaluation and overall provision of Occupational Therapy to patients who need sensorimotor rehabilitation, activities for daily living training, and range of motion to get through their day.
Directly supervises Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate of a school accredited by American Occupational Therapy Association. Certification by the American Occupational Therapy Association. NYS License/Certification.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office software (Outlook, Excel, Word), as well as Practice Management and Electronic Medical Record software.

This position may require travel between clinic sites depending upon scheduling needs.
