Job summary

Our client, a leader in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join their team and help patients get back to what moves them. With over 50 locations across four states and more growth planned, you will receive a steady stream of patients, plus mentoring for one year and ongoing education sessions.

As an OT, you will assess strengths and weaknesses, devise creative treatment plans for injuries or disorders, provide up to 40 minutes of 1:1 care, and

Qualifications

• Licensed NYS Occupational Therapist with current credential.
• Ability to develop creative treatment plans for diverse conditions.
• Experience treating hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries is a plus.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients' strengths and weaknesses
• Devising creative treatment plans for injuries or nerve, joint, and bone issues
• Providing 1:1 care, spending up to 40 minutes with each patient
• Helping patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery
• Treating adolescents and adults with ortho, sports medicine, and splinting specialties

• Providing excellent 1:1 care, spending up to 40 minutes with each patient

• Encouraging patients along the road to recovery
• Treating adolescents and adults with ortho, sports medicine, and splinting specialties

Requirements:

• NYS Occupational Therapist license
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification
• Experience treating general hand, elbow, and shoulder injuries
