Job summary

Our Client, a leading provider of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, seeks an Occupational Hand Therapist to help patients return to daily activities. The role offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and opportunities across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating customized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on care with a focus on improving function and reducing pain. NY OT license required.

Qualifications

• NY Occupational Therapist license required.
• Board Certified Hand Therapist preferred or 2+ years in outpatient hand therapy.

With a network of over 50 locations across four states and more in the works, our client is growing fast, and this is a great chance to grow with them. Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' strengths and weaknesses
• Develop creative treatment plans for individuals with injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone diseases
• Provide excellent one-on-one care, spending up to 40 minutes with each patient
• Help patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
• Encourage patients on their road to recovery
• Work with adult and adolescent hand therapy patient caseload

Requirements:

• NYS Occupational Therapist License
• Strong work ethic and dedication to patient success
• Basic computer skills
• CPR and first aid certification
• Certified Hand Therapist preferred or level 2 fieldwork experience in hand therapy, some continuing education courses, and 1-2 years of experience in outpatient hand therapy as a licensed OT
