Job summary

Confluent Health System Solutions in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join a 100% orthopedic post‑operative environment with a focus on the upper extremity, including hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders.

You will review patient history, build individualized treatment plans, conduct exercises and manual therapy, monitor outcomes, and collaborate with orthopedic physicians to help patients regain function and return to daily activities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in Indiana).
• Evidence-based, patient-centered care orientation.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing patient medical history and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Diagnosing patients by observing movements and listening to concerns.
• Using exercises, stretching, equipment, and manual therapy to manage pain and improve mobility.
• Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting approaches based on progress and presentation.
• Serving as a trusted resource and advocate throughout recovery.

You'll have the opportunity to build advanced skills in custom splinting, bracing, post-op rehabilitation, work conditioning, and functional return-to-work programs while treating a diverse patient population.
