Job summary

TheraPeds Partners is seeking a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based role in Littleton, Colorado. You will provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, develop IEP plans, and evaluate progress for students in grades K–12.

This position emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, strong communication with families, and guaranteed hours with total dedication to pediatric OT in a school environment.

Qualifications

• BS, Master's, OTD, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university.
• State License as Occupational Therapist
• NBCOT License
• Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
• Experience working with children
• Strong foundation in Sensory Integration and ability to identify and analyze areas of developmental and sensory-motor dysfunction
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with tact and discretion

Responsibilities

• Direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, and case management.
• Develop IEPs and monitor progress for K–12 students.
• Collaborate with district therapists, educators, and parents to support student goals.

Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time, on-site role as an Occupational Therapist (OT) serving a school located in Littleton, CO. The Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details

• Full-time 37.5 hours/week
• October 2026- May 2027 School Year
• Grades K - 12
• Job duties: direct therapy, consultation, evaluations, case management
• Guaranteed hours, including documentation, administrative, and planning time
• On-site, in-person
• Dual support from the District and TheraPeds
• Manageable caseloads
• $55 - $70+/hour ($2000-2600/week+)

Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
