Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Lancaster, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide services under Rehabilitation Services supervision. You will evaluate patients, set goals, implement treatment plans and coordinate care with the health team.

Qualifications include CA OT license or eligibility, a degree in OT (Bachelors or Masters) with certification, BLS, and an active NPI. Pediatric experience preferred. This is an onsite, part-time role with daytime hours.

• Coordinates the treatment program with other health care personnel.
• Provides advice and education to patient and family.
• Regularly assesses clinical signs and symptoms to determine effectiveness of treatment, progress toward goals, and need for modifying goals.
• Discharges patient from occupational therapy when the patient has received maximum benefit.
• Provides accurate, timely documentation of occupational therapy patient management.
• Demonstrates progress toward meeting the criteria for professional practice.
