Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) seeks a School-Based Occupational Therapist to serve students in Lakewood, WA, in a full-time, on-site role for the 2026-2027 school year. You will assess and support fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills within educational settings.

You'll develop IEP-aligned treatment plans, deliver services to individuals or small groups, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement accommodations and interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students' IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams for accommodations and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of progress.
• Educate staff and families on strategies for generalization of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress reports, and sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in school-based OT.

We partner with school districts across the country, providing school-based opportunities for Occupational Therapists in a variety of settings. What You’ll Be Doing*:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' ability to access and succeed in their educational environments.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, tools, and techniques in school-based OT.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet students' individual needs in dynamic school environments.
• Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
