Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a school-based role in Texas. You will assess students, collaborate with IEP teams, and provide therapy services to promote functional independence in classroom settings.

Ideal candidates hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, Texas OT license, CPR certification, and are comfortable working with diverse student populations. Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.

• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate Needs: Perform occupational therapy assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for services.
• Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents, educators, and stakeholders with clear recommendations.
• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with IEP teams to create evidence-based interventions for student participation and education access.
• Provide Therapy: Deliver direct therapy or supervise COTAs in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor Progress: Maintain detailed progress records and adjust interventions as needed.
• Support Team: Participate in IEP meetings, conferences, and multidisciplinary discussions to advocate for students.
