Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to empower students and schools. Responsibilities include OT assessments, communicating findings, and collaborating with the IEP team to develop interventions. Direct therapy or supervision of COTAs will be required, with progress tracked over time.

Education required: Master's degree or higher in OT and Texas TABOT licensure, CPR certification. Bilingual skills are a plus.

• Active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Advisory Board of Occupational Therapy (TABOT).
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' needs with OT assessments to determine eligibility for specialized services.
• Communicate evaluation findings to parents, educators, and other stakeholders, offering clear, actionable recommendations.
• Develop evidence-based interventions with the IEP team to promote participation, access to education, and skill development.
• Deliver direct therapy services or oversee Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in implementing IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students and support their growth.

Your Role:
