Job summary

Cascadia EE LLC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The role focuses on implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients develop, recover, and maintain skills for daily living and functional independence.

The COTA provides hands-on assistance with therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and exercises to improve mobility, coordination, strength, cognition and activities of daily living

Qualifications

• Ability to assist patients with functional activities and transfers following training and safety protocols.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift or assist with lifting patients and equipment according to facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans that help patients develop, recover, improve, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and functional independence. The COTA assists patients with therapeutic activities, adaptive techniques, and exercises to improve mobility, coordination, strength, cognition, and activities of daily living (ADLs).
