Job summary

Building Therapy Leaders in Issaquah, WA is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a full-time and PRN position in our in-house rehab program. You will conduct screenings, evaluate patient needs, and develop individualized treatment plans to support recovery for geriatric patients.

The role involves delivering skilled rehabilitation, wound care, and therapy modalities, with emphasis on regulatory compliance and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – FULL TIME AND PRN – ISSAQUAH, WA

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Issaquah, WA. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time and PRN Occupational Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OT s at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!
