The Therapy Place NJ in Highland Park, NJ is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will meet with patients, discuss therapy needs, and craft customized plans for them. You will also work with other doctors or health team members to arrange follow-up care and educate patients on lifestyle changes.

The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and can handle multiple cases at once with a positive, supportive approach.

Qualifications

• Must hold the state license for occupational therapy.

Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapist, you will be meeting with several patients in a day, discussing their treatment needs and ultimate goals, and crafting customized, comprehensive therapy plans for them. You will also work closely with other doctors or members of their health team to arrange follow-up care, help educate patients on lifestyle changes they may need, and provide a positive, affirming presence in their lives. The ideal candidate has a compassionate style of care, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and is comfortable handling multiple different cases at a time.
