Job summary

Reliatus Behavioral Health in the Phoenix metro area seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver pediatric therapy across Goodyear, Glendale, and Phoenix locations. On-site role with regular travel; you will develop and implement functional treatment plans, collaborate with ABA, Speech, and feeding teams, and support families in real-world settings.

Reliatus Behavioral Health, a leading recruiting organization specializing in behavioral health and autism search services, is seeking a passionate and clinically driven Occupational Therapist to join our client's growing Integrated Health team in the Phoenix Metro area. The Occupational Therapist will provide high-quality occupational therapy services to pediatric clients, with a strong emphasis on individualized care, caregiver collaboration, functional skill development, and interdisciplinary coordination.

Position Summary

This on-site role requires flexibility to travel between clinic locations in Goodyear, Glendale, and Phoenix (19th Ave & Camelback). This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who is excited to help build a high-quality, outcomes-focused program within an organization that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and ethical care.

The Occupational Therapist will work closely with ABA, Speech, Feeding, and clinical leadership teams to support each client across clinic, home, community, and other natural environments when appropriate.

Their Integrated Health program is designed to support the whole child through coordinated services, including Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and ABA. The model is rooted in clinical quality, caregiver involvement, and collaboration across disciplines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete occupational therapy evaluations and reassessments in accordance with payer, licensing, and clinical standards.

  • Develop individualized treatment plans that address functional needs, sensory processing, fine motor skills, self-care skills, visual motor integration, emotional regulation, feeding-related participation when appropriate, and activities of daily living.

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in accordance with authorized treatment plans across designated clinic sites.

  • Travel regularly between assigned clinic locations in Goodyear, Glendale, and 19th Ave & Camelback as required by scheduling needs.

  • Collaborate with caregivers to support generalization of skills across home, clinic, school, and community settings.

  • Coordinate care with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Feeding Therapists, Clinical Directors, and other members of the care team.

  • Document services accurately, timely, and in compliance with payer and organizational requirements.

  • Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case consultations, and care coordination discussions.

  • Support caregiver education, coaching, and training related to occupational therapy goals and functional skill development.

  • Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans based on data, clinical judgment, and family priorities.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable state licensing, payer, and organizational standards.

  • Support program development as the Integrated Health department continues to expand services.

  • Promote a positive, ethical, and collaborative clinical environment.

Qualifications
Required
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Current Arizona Occupational Therapist license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

  • Current NBCOT certification

  • Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel regularly between clinic sites in Goodyear, Glendale, and 19th Ave & Camelback.

  • Experience working with pediatric clients.

  • Ability to complete evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.

  • Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card and required background checks.

Preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities.

  • Experience in a clinic-based pediatric therapy setting.

  • Experience with sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine motor development, feeding participation, and activities of daily living.

  • Experience collaborating with ABA teams, Speech-Language Pathologists, and caregivers.

  • Interest in program development and helping build a growing Integrated Health department.
Physical Requirements
  • Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and move throughout clinic environments across multiple sites.

  • Lift or assist with materials and therapy equipment as needed.

  • Participate in floor-based play and therapeutic activities.

  • Support clients during functional activities of daily living.

  • Maintain visual and auditory awareness of clients during therapy sessions.

  • Safely engage with children who may require physical guidance or environmental support.

  • Travel reliably between assigned clinic facilities during scheduled workdays.
