Job summary

STAT Home Health in Fayetteville, AR is seeking part-time and PRN Occupational Therapists to join our patient care team and deliver skilled OT services in patients' homes.

You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to assess functional status, set rehabilitation goals, and contribute to the plan of care, while benefiting from ESOP ownership, competitive pay, mileage reimbursement, and career advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Arkansas OT license and AOTA registration.
• Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Patient service orientation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the physician in evaluating functional status and therapy needs.
• Deliver skilled OT services in patients' homes.
• Assist in developing the plan of care.
• Prepare summaries for the physician every 60 days.
• Set rehab goals and guide patients in therapy activities.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure care quality.

Duties

• Assist the physician in evaluating the patient’s functional status and occupational therapy needs, and assist in the development of the plan of care
• Provide services within the scope of practice as defined by the state laws governing the practice of occupational therapy, in the accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team
• Provide skilled Occupational Therapy at patients homes
• Prepare written summary to the physician at least every two months/sixty days
• Set rehab goals for patients
• Guide the patient in the use of therapeutic, creative and self-care activities for the purpose of improving function.

Requirements

• Must be currently licensed by the state of Arkansas and registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Have at least one year of experience as OT
• CPR certification
• Patient service-oriented and time management skills.
