Job summary

Palomar Health seeks an Occupational Therapist in Escondido, CA to evaluate, diagnose, and plan quality therapy treatments medically prescribed for patients. You will document care accurately and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate therapies and discharge planning.

Candidates must hold CA licensure or be an applicant, with BLS certification and the ability to work in English at a proficient level. This is a full-time position based in the Palomar Health system.

Exercises independent judgment for clinical decision-making and prepares all documentation required to support all aspects of patient care provided. Participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., calculator, fax, photocopier) and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, internet, e-mail). Windows computer skills including proficient use of keyboarding, use of mouse or keys for functions such as selecting items, use of drop down menus, scroll bars, opening folders, copying and similar operations required upon employment or within the 1st two weeks of employment to perform the essential functions of the job.
