Join Us as an Occupational Therapist in our Clifton Early Intervention Center!

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for evaluating, planning, and delivering evidence‑based occupational therapy services to support clients’ functional independence, participation, and quality of life. Working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary ABA team, the OT conducts comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and implements therapeutic interventions targeting motor skills, sensory processing, self‑help skills, and adaptive functioning.

The OT plays a key role in aligning occupational therapy goals with behavior analytic treatment plans while providing education, training, and support to families and staff to ensure consistency and carryover across environments.

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals in coordination with the ABA team.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory integration, self‑help skills, and adaptive behaviors.
  • Work closely with behavior analysts to ensure therapy goals are aligned with the overall ABA treatment plan.
  • Monitor and track client progress, adjusting interventions as needed to meet goals.
  • Provide family and caregiver education and support to ensure carryover of therapy goals in the home and community.
  • Document all sessions and maintain accurate, up to date client records.
  • Collaborate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress challenges and any changes to the treatment plan.
  • Offer training and consultation to staff on the integration of OT strategies within ABA programs.
What You’ll Need
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Experience conducting evaluations and implementing treatment plans for pediatric clients (or relevant population)
  • Knowledge of sensory integration, motor development, and activities of daily living
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary, ABA-based treatment model
  • Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and attention to documentation standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and/or developmental disabilities
Work Location & Hours:

This is an in‑person role based out of our Clifton EI center. Expected caseload between 10‑20 hours weekly.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $75.00 - $85.00 per hour.

Final compensation will be based on a range of factors, such as your skills, education, experience, certifications, market conditions, and internal equity. All offers are made in alignment with applicable federal and state laws.
