Job summary

Ally Behavior Centers is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our center-based ABA program. You will deliver OT services, collaborate with BCBA and SLP teams, and support young learners through individualized plans within a 8:30–5:30 schedule.

The role emphasizes a strong family partnership, direct hands-on therapy, and adherence to HIPAA and clinical standards. Successful candidates bring passion for helping children with autism and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
  • Active Occupational Therapy licensure in the hiring state(s).
  • NBCOT certification current.
  • BLS certification current.
  • Experience with early intervention and autism.
  • On-site work 8:30am–5:30pm Monday–Friday.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Must submit to federal, state and county background check.

Responsibilities

  • Carry a client caseload of up to 23 clients.
  • Complete parent training with each client on their caseload quarterly.
  • Complete a parent training within one month after an evaluation or reevaluation.
  • Meet the billable hour target of 40 thirty-minute sessions (20 billable hours) per week.
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and BCBA to coordinate therapy.
  • Attend team meetings and maintain HIPAA confidentiality.

Job Summary:

To facilitate collaboration of care and superior treatment outcomes for our young learners, we currently have an opening for an Occupational Therapist (OT). Our center-based program delivers intensive early intervention for young children with autism. Each child receives 1-on-1 ABA therapy delivered by a technician and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the day. Most of our learners require Occupational Therapy in addition to ABA and Speech Therapy. We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to provide high quality Occupational Therapy, collaborate with our clinicians on case management, and help our learners maximize their potential.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Carry a client caseload of up to 23 clients
  • Complete parent training with each client on their caseload once per quarter
  • Complete a parent training following an evaluation or reevaluation within one month.
  • Meet the billable hour expectations of40 thirty-minute sessions (20 billable hours) per week
  • Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists and Board Certified Behavior Analysts to coordinate the therapy of shared clients
  • Attend team meetings as scheduledMaintain strict client confidentiality following HIPAA protocol
  • Maintain open communication with families and clinical teams to ensure the most effective treatment and goals
  • Due to the nature of working with young children, all clinical staff are required to change diapers, assist with toileting, and be able to physically work on the floor with children
Experiential & Certification Requirements:
  • Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy required
  • Current and active Occupational Therapy licensure in the state(s) of hire
  • Current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience with early intervention and working with children with autism
  • Ability to be on-site from 8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday required
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must submit to a federal, state, and county background check
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit on the floor, kneel, crawl, squat, run or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to reach and hold objects
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
