Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans to promote independence and recovery.

You will build meaningful relationships with patients, support their physical, mental, and emotional needs, and collaborate with caregivers to ensure high-quality, evidence-based therapy.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master’s Degree preferred, or Bachelor’s Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
