Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital in Missouri is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver medically prescribed OT services on both inpatient and outpatient units, under the supervision of the Director and Supervisors.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant OT degree and Missouri licensure or eligibility; the role emphasizes teamwork, patient care quality, and commitment to the hospital's mission.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Baccalaureate, Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
• Under supervision, organizes and performs medically prescribed OT programs and participates in educational duties.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and performs occupational therapy programs as prescribed.
• Manages unit supplies and equipment.
• Promotes teamwork with all members of the health care team.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director, Outpatient and Inpatient Supervisor, organizes and performs medically prescribed PT programs and participates in educational duties inherent to the position. Responsible for managing all assigned supplies and equipment on the unit. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education:

Must hold a Baccalaureate, Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Licensure:

Must be licensed or eligible for licensure for licensure by Missouri State Board of Healing Arts.
