Job summary

Flagship Therapy seeks an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehab program in Burien, WA. This role offers both full-time and PRN opportunities within a stable team focused on geriatric recovery and daily living activities.

The ideal candidate holds a valid OT license and is open to all experience levels, including new grads, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist license is required.
• Open to OTs at all experience levels. New Grads are welcome!

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, and develop care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments.
• Regular standing and walking throughout the facility; occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment.
• Administer procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring regulatory and clinical compliance.

Our expanding network of in-house therapy Ensign-affiliate operated healthcare facilities is growing, and we are scouting for excellent therapists to join us in Burien, WA. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking dedicated Full Time and PRN Occupational Therapists for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• The role involves regular standing and walking throughout the facility and occasional lifting, transferring, and repositioning of patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
