MeBe is a family-owned provider of evidence-based therapies for children with autism and other special needs. Our mission is to empower families, professionals, and communities by educating and training them on evidence-based approaches.

We are growing our Pediatric Occupational Therapy team and seek compassionate OT professionals who love working with children and their families. The role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and collaborative care across disciplines.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification is required for licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• 2–3 years pediatric OT experience recommended.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Independently evaluate function via tests, observation, and interviews.
• Create individualized treatment plans and provide counseling and training.
• Consult with multi-disciplinary team to craft collaborative plans.
• Provide individual therapy and group or co-treats as appropriate.
• Maintain records and billing in line with regulations and policy.
• Develop and implement plans to maximize functional potential.
• Contribute to program development and educate families on home programs.
• Document client progress and complete billing logs.

MeBe’s Occupational Therapy team provides individual and group therapy sessions for children ranging in age from 6 months to 16 years on average diagnosed with

• ADHD
• Anxiety
• Cerebral palsy
• Down syndrome

About What You’ll Work On:

• Independently evaluate the functional ability of patients through the administration, interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview
• Create individualized treatment and educational plans and provide patient/family counseling and training.
• Consult closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies
• Provide individual therapy sessions as well as group and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
• Maintain patient records, documentation, and appropriate billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policy to ensure excellent standard of care
• Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Facilitate functional and stimulating experiences to target and achieve individualized goals
• Contribute to program development
• Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment
• Timely documentation of client progress and complete billing logs ethically and accurately for occupational therapy services provided

Qualifications:

• NBCOT: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy
• At least 2-3 years of experience working as an OT with pediatric population
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational priorities
• Work in a collaborative environment with other clinicians with varied backgrounds in field
• Industry benchmarked, competitive pay based on experience and location.
• Salaried $85,000- $105,000 based on experience
