Job summary

Beyond Words, PLLC in Beaumont, TX is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our outpatient clinic. We provide pediatric speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and physical therapy services in Southeast Texas.

We value a collaborative, play-based approach to helping children reach essential milestones. The OT will engage with a multidisciplinary team to support development across activities of daily living, motor skills, and sensory processing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Holds a valid Texas OT license.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment across developmental areas (ADLs, fine motor, sensory, social/behavioral, strength/stability/coordination, visual-motor integration).
• Manage a pediatric caseload with diverse needs.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized OT treatment based on child’s severity and needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team to maximize the child’s therapy experience.

We are looking for an OT that enjoys….

• Providing treatment in across developmental areas (activities of daily living, fine motor, senory integration, social/behavioral, strength/stability/coordination, visual-motor integration and perception skills)
• Managing a caseload of pediatric clients with various needs
• Performing essential tasks within an OT’s scope of practice; assess, plan, and implement treatment based on the individual child’s severity and difficulties.
• Collaborating with a MULTI-DISCIPLINE therapy team to maximize the child’s therapy experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AOTA accredited OccupationalTherapy program
• Hold a valid Occupational Therapy license in the State of Texas (OT)
