Job summary

San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to support the hospital's mission of providing safe, high-quality care in a compassionate environment. You will evaluate patients, set goals, plan treatment and train families while adhering to the department policies and California practice acts.

The role requires a California OT license and BLS, with 1+ year of clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical occupational therapy experience preferred.
• California OT license required or suitable combination of education/training.
• Current License from the Occupational Therapy Board of California and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care including evaluations and goal setting.
• Develops treatment plans and applies techniques per department policy.
• Trains families in care techniques and supports patient progress.

Position Summary

The Occupational Therapist provides patient care including evaluations, goal setting, treatment planning, family training and the application of treatment techniques in accordance with designated practice act and department policy and procedure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy required, Suitable combination of education, training, or experience along with a California license in Occupational Therapy is acceptable.

Licensure

• Current License from the Occupational Therapy Board of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Experience

• 1+ years of clinical experience highly preferred.


• Must have good interpersonal and organizational skills.
