Occupational Therapist (OT) | Inpatient Rehab

• Location: Augusta, GA
• Pay Rate: $65/hour
• Position Type: Contract; 13 Weeks
• Care Setting: Inpatient Rehab
• Shift Availability: M-F 8AM-4PM

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' functional abilities and identify barriers to independence, safety, and participation in daily activities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve or maintain performance of activities of daily living
• Provide therapeutic interventions to support functional independence, safety, and quality of life
• Assess and recommend adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications
• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical findings and goals
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques, safety strategies, and functional support
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and resident outcomes
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional practice standards
• Communicate concerns or issues to onsite supervisor and agency
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working under an active OT license
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in inpatient rehab
• Must have reliable transportation to assigned facilities
• Must maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Able to push, pull, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to be standing and walking with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting with proper body mechanics
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Willing to complete background and drug screening in accordance with applicable laws and regulations
• Active and unencumbered GA OT License or Compact OT License
• Government-Issued Photo ID or Passport

• Additional credentials may be required based on facility placement
