Job summary

Erickson Senior Living is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our Ashby Ponds community in Virginia. The role focuses on supporting residents across the continuum of care, assisting with daily living activities and tailoring care plans to each resident’s preferences.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience with older adult populations preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Active and valid state Occupational Therapy license.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic care addressing residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Implement and monitor residents' personal care plans aligned to their preferences and routines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical team to meet residents' ongoing care needs.

Location: Ashby Ponds by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as an Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide personalized care to our residents. With all residents living on campus, you'll have the opportunity to support them throughout their continuum of care, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their individual needs are met.

How you will make an impact

• Providing a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs
• Implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.
• Working with the interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure the needs of our residents are being addressed throughout their care.

What you will need

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in working with the older adult population related to the therapies is preferred.
• Current CPR Certification.
• Must possess a valid and current state Occupational Therapy license.
