Job description

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and developmental capabilities to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy programs to help patients achieve their goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, sensory processing, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment to enhance independence and safety
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid state license or certification as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in speech therapy, case management, or working in a hospital setting is preferred
