Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, environmental health, biological sciences, public health, or related field.
• Master of Public Health or equivalent is preferred.
• Certification in Occupational Health is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop, coordinate, promote, and assess occupational health and safety policies, programs, and procedures.
• Monitor and communicate changes in OSHA, New York State and other regulatory requirements.
• Design and deliver safety training programs and workshops for faculty, staff, students and others.
• Recommend corrective actions, controls, and procedures to reduce hazards and improve safety.
• Partner with Radiation Safety and Biosafety Officers to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct respirator fit testing and manage respiratory protection compliance and records.
• Oversee laboratory animal safety and IACUC-related hazard controls and training.
