Job summary

The City and County of Denver seeks a Safety and Industrial Hygiene Administrator to develop and implement goals, objectives, and policies for a comprehensive occupational health and safety program to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and enhance the safety and wellbeing of the DOTI workforce.

Key duties include policy development, inspections, training, incident reviews, and leadership of safety initiatives for diverse city operations and public infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years professional level experience developing safety policies and procedures.
• Education or experience substitutable by a Master’s degree in related field.
• Professional certifications CSP/REHS-RS/CIH required or to be maintained.
• Valid driver's license at time of application and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement goals, objectives, and policies for a comprehensive safety program.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and city safety directives.
• conduct inspections, audits, and incident reviews with corrective actions.
• Lead training programs on safety and risk management for staff.
