This prestigious role is ideal for an Occupational Health Physician Leader who excels in a dynamic environment, balancing clinical duties with client-facing responsibilities, training, mentorship, auditing, and education.
Scope of Services
The Medical Director will oversee a comprehensive scope of services, including assessment and treatment of work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries, regulatory exams, preventive services, workers' compensation, and episodic and urgent care. The role is primarily based in the Quad Cities, with 80% of the time dedicated to direct patient care and 20% to administrative activities. These include directing the medical practice of PAs and NPs, providing consultation, and supporting their educational needs. Additionally, the role involves medical surveillance, fit-for-duty evaluations, and initial evaluation and stabilization of patients requiring higher-level care. Candidates must hold a valid and unrestricted medical license in Illinois and Iowa, be board-certified in relevant fields, and demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and collaborative teamwork.
