Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks an Occupational Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in Fayetteville, NC. Start ASAP with a Day 8 shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 8a-5p).

Physician will manage about 20-25 patients per day in an Urgent Care Clinic setting and must hold North Carolina medical licensure with BLS, DEA, and DOT requirements; board certification or eligibility preferred. Credentialing expected in ~2 weeks.

Qualifications

• State medical license for North Carolina
• BLS certification required
• DEA registration required
• Board certification or eligibility in Occupational Medicine or related field
• DOT knowledge a plus
• Credentialing timeframe of about 2 weeks

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine care in an urgent care setting
• Support patients with preventive care and work-related health needs
• Collaborate with facility staff to coordinate patient care
• Document encounters and maintain accurate medical records

• State Licensure: North Carolina state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified or Eligible and Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
