Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage in New Mexico. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule, with typical hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

or 6:00 p.m., and opportunities to float to nearby locations as needed. Clinics operate as urgent care, treating about 20–25 patients daily. Applicants must hold NM state medical license, BLS, DEA, and DOT credentials, with board certification or eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational medicine coverage in urgent care settings.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8a–5p or 8a–6p, with site floats as needed.
• Manage ~20–25 patients per day in a fast-paced clinic.
• Complete credentialing within about 2 weeks.

This facility is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician forlocum tenens support as they look to fill acurrent need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-5p or 8a-6p. Will float to area locations as needed.
• Patients per day: 20-25
• Practice Setting: Urgent Care Clinic
• State Licensure: New Mexico state medical license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Board Certified or Eligible and Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks
