Banner Health seeks a Physician Assistant for its Occupational Health and Wellness program in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The successful candidate will join a large, multistate team of clinicians and support staff, performing exams, treating injuries, and managing worker health needs.

Qualifications

• PA-C designation with NCCPA certification.
• Active DEA license for controlled substances.
• Current Arizona license or eligibility to practice.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• DOT/NRCME driver examinations certification preferred or obtainable within 6 months.
• Experience in occupational medicine or urgent care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform baseline and annual physical exams.
• Evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and other medical conditions.
• Assess infectious and hazardous material exposures.
• Read EKGs and perform treadmill stress tests when needed.
