Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a BC Physician for a per diem Occupational Medicine role in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The physician will consult on Cardiac Imaging requests and deliver occupational health services for a diverse patient population.

Eligible specialties include Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health, with 1–3 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BC in Occupational Medicine or related field required or board-eligible.
• 1–3 years of relevant clinical experience preferred.
• DOT certifications required upon hire or within 12 months.
• ACLS and BLS certification required or obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical occupational health services and exam procedures.
• Serve as consultant for Cardiac Imaging requests with the team.
• Support the Banner Occupational Health Services for patients, employers, and payors.

Banner Health, one of the countrys premier non‑profit health systems, is seeking a BC Physician in either Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health, for a per diem Occupational Medicine position in partnership with the Phoenix Fire Department. The main focus of this position is to serve as a consultant for the team, assisting with Cardiac Imaging requests.

Excellent opportunity for an experienced BC Occupational Medicine Physician to join our highly engaged team! Our Occupational Health physician will perform clinical Occupational Health Services, demonstrating competence in the evaluation and treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses, and the performance of specialty examinations provided to patients, employers, and payors associated with Banner Occupational Health Services.

Position Details:

• BC in Occupational Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Preventative Medicine or Public Health
• 1-3 years experience preferred
• DOT Certifications upon hire or within one year of hire date
• ACLS and BLS certified or obtain certification with‑in 6 months of employment
• Per Diem (employed position not 1099 eligible)
