Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active, unrestricted California PA or NP license.
• Current NRCME certification as a DOT Medical Examiner, or willingness to obtain within 30 days.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating injuries.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat occupational medicine patients in person and via telehealth.
• Assess workplace injuries and establish proper treatment plans and levels of care.
• Document accurately using the Prognosis EMR system.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to maintain high standards of care.
• Communicate with employer representatives about injuries and significant patient changes.
• Build and maintain relationships with employer clients and insurers.
• Ensure compliance with California practice regulations and workers' comp requirements.
• Coordinate patient care with medical assistants, front office, X-ray, and on-site therapy.
• Contribute to quality improvement and efficient clinical workflows.
