BestMed in Salem, OR is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to deliver independent occupational medicine services within a collaborative healthcare team. The role focuses on evaluating patients, performing exams, and developing treatment plans in a clinic setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational medicine services within a clinic setting
• Evaluate patients through physical examinations and determine diagnoses and treatment plans
• Perform clinical procedures within scope and skill level
• Communicate diagnosis and treatment goals to patients
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR
• Perform other duties as assigned by Medical Director

BestMed is looking for a Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner who functions as an independent healthcare provider while working collaboratively within a healthcare team The provider is responsible for providing occupational medicine services in a clinic care setting.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the delivery of occupational medicine services
• Evaluate patients, based on medical training and/or specialty, to determine the medical condition of the patient, through the performance of physical examinations, thereby, establishing a diagnosis and proposed treatment plan
• Perform such clinical procedures for patient's benefit which are within scope and skill of practitioner and which are economically feasible
• Communicate information to patients regarding diagnosis and treatment goals
• Maintains accurate, complete, concise and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Perform other job‑related duties, as may be assigned, by the Medical Director

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted PA or NP license in the state or the ability to obtain

Compensation: Pay is based on experience, skills and falls within an established range.
