AMN Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for locum tenens coverage in California. Start date is ASAP with an 8a–5p schedule, Monday through Friday, and the provider will float to nearby clinics. Expect to see 20–25 patients per day in an urgent care/occupational medicine setting.

Candidates must hold a California state medical license with BLS, DEA, Board Certification, and DOT qualifications. Credentialing typically takes about two weeks.

Qualifications

• State Licensure: California state medical license.
• BLS certification required.
• DEA registration required.
• Board Certification in Occupational Medicine or related field is preferred.
• DOT certification or ability to obtain DOT certification.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–5p, with float to area clinics.
• Patient volume: approx. 20–25 patients per day.
• Practice setting: Urgent Care/OCCMed clinic.
• Credentialing: typical timeframe around 2 weeks.
