Job summary

Our client in Michigan is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment starting Jan 4, 2027. The role requires medical directorship duties, supervising advanced practice providers, and overseeing a diverse caseload of occupational health services including physicals and injury follow-ups.

You will perform DOT physicals, PFTs, and audiometries, conduct suturing as needed, and drive process improvements while maintaining a no-call schedule and 8:00a-5:00p hours.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Occupational Medicine is required.
• DOT physicals, PFTs, and audiometry experience preferred.
• No call schedule; shifts 8:00am-5:00pm; travel covered.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical directorship and supervise APPs.
• Review APP notes focusing on diagnosis and OSHA reportable incidents.
• Drive process improvements and support business growth.
• Lead regular APP meetings for collaboration and development.
• Perform physical examinations and injury follow-ups.
• Administer DOT physicals, PFTs and audiometry.
• Execute suturing procedures as necessary.
