Job summary

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks a Medical Assistant for ambulatory care in Occupational Medicine. You will collect subjective and objective health data and communicate this data to the health care provider under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant program.
• Nationally certified or registered as a Medical Assistant (MA).
• BLS certification required within six months of employment.
• ND registration as MAIII or provisional grace period to obtain registration.

Responsibilities

• Collect subjective and objective health data from patients and relay to the health care provider.
• Assist in patient care under the supervision of licensed professionals.
• Obtain vital signs and prepare patients for examinations.
• Observe and report patient symptoms and perform point-of-care testing.
