Job summary
Banner Health is seeking an Occupational Medicine Lead Advanced Practice Provider in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will perform baseline and annual exams, manage industrial injuries and medical conditions, and mentor staff within Banner Occupational Health and Wellness.
Requirements include three+ years in occupational medicine, NP/PA-C with AANP/NCCPA credentials, DEA license, AZ license, and ACLS/BLS. NRCME certification is required for driver examinations.
Qualifications
- Must be a current practicing APP employed by Banner with three or more years of Occupational Medicine experience.
- NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA).
- Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
- Current AZ license or eligibility.
- ACLS/BLS required.
- Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required.
Responsibilities
- Perform baseline and annual physical exams.
- Evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions, infectious and hazardous material exposures.
- Directly supervise staff and assist with recruitment, hiring and mentoring.
- Act as a role model for staff with people-centered, service-excellence-focused, and results-oriented leadership.
