Pivot Onsite Innovations is hiring an experienced and self-driven Paramedic for a PRN position (as-needed). This role provides coverage at our onsite healthcare clinic located at our client's distribution center in De Soto, KS.

Job Summary

The Paramedic coordinates healthcare for employees in the onsite clinic, oversees evaluation and case management of workplace injuries, and ensures compliance with medical surveillance and OSHA mandates. The role involves communicating with employees, stakeholders, and treatment providers regarding workplace safety and injury prevention.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergencies.
• Administer first aid, assess injuries/illnesses.
• Perform drug tests, hearing tests, pulmonary function, and fit tests as needed.
• Communicate with medical professionals and treatment facilities for further instructions.
• Follow patient care plans provided by physicians or third-party providers.
• Communicate with client and site personnel about incidents and hazards.
• Promote teamwork and a culture of trust and responsibility.
• Engage in injury prevention activities with client site personnel.
• Attend meetings and serve on committees as needed.

Required Education, Skills & Abilities

• Valid state license.
• At least 2 years of industry experience; occupational health experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• CAOHC certification as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist is a plus.
• DOT breath alcohol technician and urine drug screening training are pluses.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health, OSHA, and Worker's Compensation preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability.
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required.
