Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join our team on a PRN daytime schedule. You will provide drug and alcohol testing, conduct screens on-site and in clinic, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have BLS, DATIA certification, Lifec0l Breath Alcohol Technician certification, and 2+ years in drug testing or as a medical technician. Bilingual English-Spanish is preferred in our diverse community.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• DATIA Certified Professional Collector preferred.
• Lifeloc Breath Alcohol Technician certification or equivalent.
• Two+ years experience in drug testing or as a medical technician is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide drug and alcohol testing and other ancillary services.
• Perform Drug Screens in clinic and on-site settings.
• Perform Breath and Alcohol tests in clinic and on-site settings.
• Demonstrate competency in department-specific technical skills.
• Maintain required certification.
• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures and diagnostic testing.
• Stock and clean examination rooms.
• Maintain inventory of supplies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide care appropriate to the patient population served.
